"Location and house were great as I grew up in the next street, so many happy memories of the area and the house was one I remember as a schoolboy walking to school past it everyday. The house has been modernised to a good standard and was very comfortable for our stay. It made our stay in Inverurie a joy as everything was close by."

"It was a real treat to arrive here after a long journey. It is a beautiful, modern house in an idyllic setting. We had ample room to spread out and accommodate our large extended family. Everything was spotless. Vinnie showed my sister around and was responsive to all our questions and requests throughout the stay. We will cherish our memories of this house forever! Highly recommended!"

"The property was clean and comfortable with all the facilities expected. The garden was spectacular with red squirrels, rabbits and plenty of wildlife. The collection of books and artworks in the house was much appreciated. This is not a property if for those wanting flashy or ultra modern but it is a fabulous place to stay to enjoy the Cairngorms."

"My wife and I stayed here for 3 days and we loved having a kitchen to prepare many of our meals in. Restaurants and the pub were a short walk away (oct is the end of the season for many store/business owners. The Whiskey Castle was closed but we were happy to step in the pub for some whiskey sampling there). "Absolutely loved stopping here, it is such a fantastic location and a beautiful property to match. Arlene made us very welcome on check-in and showed us around the property and how things worked, we also got fresh eggs from Arlene's hens , which was a lovely touch Whilst here we visited Glen Moray distillery in Elgin, other distilleries are available, in fact there are loads around here. We also went to the 3B's, Balletar, Balmoral and Braemar which was lovely although Balmoral was closed.on the...

"On a spacious site by a river, we were welcomed to this superb accommodation by casual and friendly hosts and enjoyed the sporting facilities like golf, tennis, snooker walks and cycling and as well as the castles, restaurants and other amenities in this lovely area. We had only one infant but he too was well catered for."

"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"
