"Beechwood is a very well presented cottage with lovely gardens in the centre of Ballater. The cottage has been furnished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect. We loved staying there and look forward to returning."

Arlene made us very welcome on check-in and showed us around the property and how things worked, we also got fresh eggs from Arlene's hens , which was a lovely touch Whilst here we visited Glen Moray distillery in Elgin, other distilleries are available, in fact there are loads around here. "On a spacious site by a river, we were welcomed to this superb accommodation by casual and friendly hosts and enjoyed the sporting facilities like golf, tennis, snooker walks and cycling and as well as the castles, restaurants and other amenities in this lovely area. We had only one infant but he too was well catered for."

"The property was one of the best we have stayed in. It was well equipped with good quality items. The situation was very private so no disturbance. It was very comfortable and we liked the supply of excellent quality bath robes. Our only negative was the garden which was not nice.The patio area was full of weeds and could have done with some maintenance and perhaps some pots with shrubs or flowers to brighten up the place"
