"This is our third visit which probably says it all! The property is war, clean , comfortable and peaceful. It isn't really equipped for proper cooking but has a toaster, small mobile hot plate and toaster, very adequate for our needs. Our hosts were friendly,welcoming and unobtrusive."

"We had a great long weekend in Oct/Nov. The village is fantastic with a traditional butcher, farm shop and amazing cafe, all on a lovely high street. A wonderful park across the road which the dog loved. Lots of amazing walks nearby. The flat was cosy and there were some lovely treats on arrival. Great for dog owners too. "

"We very much enjoyed using the apartment. The sofas were comfortable, the rooms had good closet space, the beds were also comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We especially liked being able to walk to the Co-op and the fact that a pharmacy close by. We would definitely return if we are headed to the Aberdeen area. "

"The Snug is in the perfect location for exploring waterfront Stonehaven. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops, and very near the start of the walking trail that goes from Stonehaven to the war memorial and Dunnottar Castle. The flat itself is adorable - brightly decorated with lovely Scottish touches. We were a family of two adults and one preteen, and it was a good fit. "What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"
