"Lovely peaceful stay at the Wee Snug, really spacious and loved being able to rotate the TV to watch TV in bed and relax! Games were so fun, shower is really powerful. One thing - bed is very soft FYI! Also, we struggled with getting any sort of taxi booking in the evening so I would advise booking ahead of time if you plan to venture to nearby villages etc. and want a couple drinks - we ended up just driving to places and getting takeaway and coming back to have some drinks with dinner instead....

"The lodge is set in a very scenic setting next to Lock Aboyne and woodlands which you can walk around. The property itself owned and run by a lovely couple who pretty much seem to do everything themselves. The decor is dated and old fashioned but if you like golf this is a great option as the course setting is fabulous …it’s a 9 hole set over a huge expanse with inclines and some difficult hazards. "The welcome was warm and personal. Beautiful period property, everything is of really high standard, with such attention to detail. The view from our room over the trees, from our bed and also from the comfortable chairs was amazing. Breakfast was outstanding. Would recommend and would definitely stay again."
