"Had a lovely time staying here. Different from staying in a hotel. Hot drinks offered to us every time we came in. Beautiful big bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Clean, tidy, really comfortable bed. Had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had for ages. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors are lovely, warm, friendly people. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in the area. Thank you both x"

"I’d give Melin Tregyb 5* for cleanliness and the room was large and airy with a very comfortable double bed. The owners were very quick to respond to emails but it would be comforting for me, as a solo traveller, to have an hour per day when the owners could be guaranteed to be in the building. "

The owners, George and Linda (and their friendly dog Willow), were welcoming and friendly and great at making suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. "We had a wonderful time at the Four Seasons. We were there for 4 nights. Emma and Stewart were so welcoming, we got on so well and feel we have made a couple of new friends. The breakfasts were cooked to perfection, so delicious. We had free use of the swimming pool and jacuzzi, and walks around the extensive grounds. All in all just brilliant."

"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."
