"Average accommodation. Specifically booked as it said parking available. True but 300 yards away in a multi story! Also was a nightmare to find by car. Inaccessible in actual fact. Air con didn't work either. No duvet for sofa bed. Got glass in foot in the kitchenette. And thought Basel very expensive and average. All in all, a rather forgetable experience. "

"The apartment is located close to everything we needed and our host was lovely! She had maps prepared for us and also got us city passes before we arrived (half off to the zoo, museums, etc). "I had wonderful stay in Apartment Wolf IV, so clean and many lovely details. I really enjoyed my stay, the pillow was not suitable for me, but that's fine for 2 nights. "With many of the rental units in Basel with just one, sometimes 2, bedrooms, it was hard to find a unit that offers 3 bedrooms. Thus, we were thrilled when we found this listing, and its “too good to be true” photos and description did not disappoint. "Highly recommended to anyone who loves to get out in the mountains. Networks of beautifully signposted Swiss footpaths pass the front door. The scenery is dramatic - limestone cliffs creating steep sided gorges - and makes for some challenging mountain biking! Gabriele was a generous host and her apartment made a cosy and extremely comfortable base for exploring. We were grateful for the warm log stove on the cool October nights."
