"Mansion House is situated in the quieter part of Scarborough which suited us perfectly. We received a warm welcome and found the accommodation to be spotless and comfortable. "This is a lovely country hotel, i stayed last weeknin a garden room. This week I chose a room in the Hotel itself which was great unfortunately the staff went home and left music playing in the Restaurant down below and this kept me awake ! The Management compensated me in the morning for the inconvenience which was good of them. The food was excellent and the ambience was great so I will definitely stay again ."

"Generally a decent stay but just a few points which were not right & so thus was the reason for not giving a glowing review. 1..the weather seal on the edge of the external door had come away for 25 cm & just was getting worse. 2..no bulb was present in the living area floor lamp. 3..no washing up liquid was in the cupboard & so resulted in us needing to purchase our own.
