"Stayed in Kendal suite and at first appearance it’s a lovely suite but as the night went on a few cracks seems to appear- the pipe work in the building is old so when you’re trying to sleep you constantly hear the noise of the pipes draining or whatever - it’s very off putting to try and sleep too, the window did not latch and poor quality so when sleeping if keeping window open it can only be open half way and then it makes the blinds rattle against the wall! Again so annoying when trying to...

"Our room was really nice, clean and comfortable. The food was nice. We came with our dog but even though the hotel states that it is dog friendly, it is really we let you bring your dog. There was an area to eat when you have a dog (which was fully booked on the Friday) so we sat in the bar area which had a good atmosphere. We asked to be sat there on the second night as the dog friendly area was out of the way and there was no atmosphere. It is important to us when we come away with our dog...

"In an idyllic setting, an excellent base for holidaying around Matlock/Derbyshire . Everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack included a bottle of my wife's favourite wine. The owner checked to see if everything was to our satisfaction. Would certainly recommend it. "
