"I found the staff welcoming and very friendly. I enjoyed my evening meal and breakfast. The room was very nice and I really enjoyed the deep bath. I did not like the bright green light that came from a box mounted on the ceiling. It was very bright and I had to arrange my pillows in such a way to block it out in order to sleep. I prefer a darker room to sleep in. Apart from that everything was lovely. "

"Not the normal place we stay at, we prefer Hilton or something similar, but we were most definitely pleased with our choice of accommodation. The SatNav got us close and Rich who I'm going to assume is onebof the owners, called us just as we arrived on the lane and guided us in. The room was modern, clean and spacious. "We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow).
