The only negative for us is the rooms are in need of a refit especially the bathrooms its all a bit tired, we thought the same last year when we stayed not up to 5 star rating in our view."

"My husband and I wanted four nights away in the sunshine and warmth to sit and look at the sea and feel indulged and that is exactly what the hotel La Isla y El Mar gave us. Wonderful friendly and happy staff from reception to the restaurant to the bar. We even got a new cocktail on the house from David in the Kentia bar! We had a wonderful massage and couples experience in the spa. If you want to get away for a short break to the warmth and not do very much this is the perfect spot."
