I wanted to stay in Piran but choose this hotel initially for two reasons: (a) it was walking distance along a promenade to Piran and offered free parking; and (b) it would be staying in a slice of history as the form of the hotel (though not the renovated interiors) harked back to the more brutalist days of the Yugoslav Republic. "Wow the views from the balcony room were totally amazing! Hotel is very well situated right on the promenade and a friendly staff offered to park car at an off site location ! Comfortable and well maintained rooms . Didn't use pool and sauna but are available! Breakfast was served in the restaurant and was good ! Highly recommend! "

" Beautiful hotel, all rooms are facing the coast. Swimming pool with warm sea water is excellent. Parking is little bit outside of the hotel and might not have enough space. Walking distance to both Portoroz and Piran. The only complaint is no air conditioning in October. It is still warm during the day. Open windows work at night. "
