"We had the most fantastic stay for my husbands birthday. We were absolutely breath taken from the moment we stepped through the doors. The service was second to none, absolutely fantastic so polite and friendly! The standard was impeccable and we were made to feel so special throughout our stay. The spa was beautiful and we got an upgrade to a gorgeous room which made our stay so special. The Elemis products in the bathroom was a huge plus. "Excellent hotel and apartments, We stayed in the apartments on the hotel grounds this were to a very high standard with everything you needed. My daughter and myself enjoyed our stay in one of the 2 bedroom one's each room offering a super king size bed and ensuite, TV's in each room, comfortable lounge area and well equipped kitchen, the hotel bar and restaurant is only a short walk across the car park with a great choice of lunch and evening meals available. "Storrs Guest house was clean & comfortable. The owners were very friendly & helpful, nothing was too much for them. They were knowledgeable on places to see. The breakfast was excellent - sets you up for the day. I would recommend Storrs Guest house & it was only a 10 minute walk into Bowness which offered some amazing friendly pubs & the food was good, enjoyed the Sunday roast in the Flying Pig very good food."

"Our stay at Lindeth Fell was excellent. The property is stunning and surrounding areas and grounds are beautiful. There’s plenty of parking available and parking right outside the front door. When you enter there’s a roaring fire and the service is impeccable. We felt welcomed and we were even upgraded to the Master Suite which was a lovely treat! We had lunch outside, which was delicious. The room was huge with spectacular views. We even had homemade cookies in the room. Breakfast was delicious...

"Mike and Lynn run a first-class professional establishment. They provide an appropriately relaxed environment with excellent facilities. Our room was quiet, spacious and spotless. The bed was comfortably firm. For those traveling by car, the ample parking in an enclosed courtyard is a rare bonus. Breakfast selections are prepared with care. Overall, the property and management deserve a five-star rating."
