What will prevent us from coming again or recommending the place however was that although the breakfast choice was excellent the buffet food for dinner that we'd paid dearly for on half board was not four star at all but three star at best. "Overall very good and relaxing break at the hotel, the buffet breakfast was excellent and staff very polite and helpful. Will return again as enjoyed our stay, only downside was limited sun loungers on the outside balcony near the inside pool, spa was great and food was excellent "

"My husband and I wanted four nights away in the sunshine and warmth to sit and look at the sea and feel indulged and that is exactly what the hotel La Isla y El Mar gave us. Wonderful friendly and happy staff from reception to the restaurant to the bar. We even got a new cocktail on the house from David in the Kentia bar! We had a wonderful massage and couples experience in the spa. If you want to get away for a short break to the warmth and not do very much this is the perfect spot."

It you're looking for an all-inclusive on the beach choice, this one isn't for you and didn't appear to have loads of options for kids. We were looking for a really nice 3 days away as a couple without loads of plans and just relaxing. The hotel was beautifully designed and exactly what we were looking for. The staff was also so friendly and helpful. "
