"The hotel is undergoing refurbishment but seems to be mostly complete. The beautiful bar was not open but opens in two days so 11th March I believe. The staff and lobby are is beautiful with a nice cafe on the side. The walk is less than 10 minutes from the train station and in a nice area quite a lot less noisy than the main streets just nearby. "Old building that is converted into a hotel. Beautifully done. The W has actually two buildings. If you stay at one building and want to use the gym or pool, you have to cross the street. It's a very small street so it is actually charming rather than annoying. Pool and spa are GORGEOUS. I also stayed at the W in Barcelona but this one is definitely more impressive. THey also had a cool lounge on top of the building."

The staff are extremely polite and helpful, although the breakfast team needs to bump their awareness and speed somewhat as waiting 30 mins for the first coffee and cutlery is unacceptable. "Nice hotel but the walls and windows were extremely thin. Could very clearly hear people in rooms next to you and on the streets. If you’re looking to party and sleep isn’t a priority this is a great spot. "
