"The hotel and its staff are excellent. The facilities could not be faulted. A focus area for improvement would be around dining options. One of party has a vegetarian and gluten-free diet. The menu options between the restaurants and room service are not joined up. There were options on the room service menu that you could not get on the restaurant menu so the choice was really limiting. "Wonderful stay in this world class hotel. Situated in the historic high end museum quarter, it was walking distance to the best of Amsterdam’s attractions. We were greeted with smiles and French Champagne and promptly upgraded to a gorgeous junior corner suite. My husband felt very special on his bday as it seemed that the whole hotel knew it was his bday. "Very very nice accommodation! The location is great for the big museums and tram to city center is at the end of the block. The area is tourist central and I would guess v lively in summer Beds below grade meant dead quiet for sleep quality. The only negative is the stairs. Very Dutch; very tight spiral with small treads. Not suitable if at all mobility challenged. Bit hard with large heavy baggage. Kitchen was v convenient. W/D worked well Host is A++. "
