"Absolutely loved everything about the JW Marriott Le Morne! The setting is dreamy, the sea is so transparent, the staff is kind, caring and efficient. The rooms and common areas/restaurant are so tastefully decorated. I rate this hotel well above some more famous Mauritian establishments, such as Le St Geran. Our villa (on stilts) was quiet, had all the expected amenities and more, and overlooked the lake, although the boardwalk did have a significant people drifting passed, particularly to the restaurant. Food excellent; staff very helpful. Wine expensive. Was given a villa to stay after check-out before a late airport departure, very much appreciated. 2 minor concerns: our villa was always cleaned late (after 2pm) which meant we had to wait before going back there after lunch....
