The room was huge, it had a well stocked kitchen, the bathroom was lovely and balcony was nice and private I had originally booked a more expensive room which had direct access to the pool but changed it to a cheaper one. Really glad I did that as all rooms have very easy access to the pool The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble There’s a yoga mat in the room which is a nice touch...

"From the moment I exited my Uber, to the second I walked out of the door to leave, this hotel and its staff was sheer excellence! The front doorman helped me with my luggage as I arrived, then I was greeted with the warmest and kindest smile by the front desk. "Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms were huge and the balcony was a huge added plus. Everyone working there was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location is beyond perfect- it’s super safe and walkable to the V&A and Oranjezicht market. Some reviewers negatively compared it to the neighboring Queen Victoria hotel, but we actually preferred how close the Dockhouse is to the pool area. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip to Cape...
