"Brad was a lovely host, we were in the area for a family funeral and he made our stay stress free and very comfortable. Tavistock town centre is a quick walk along the road where you can buy local produce and gifts etc. locals were lovely and friendly as well. The hotel was very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. All facilities were great."

"A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Very good standard of food. "Recommend parking in Magdalen Street car park (by the Mecure Hotel) free parking from 6 pm to 8 am (alternative parking in St Mary Arches was expensive).
