"The property was very clean and tidy. Our room was really really nice, the decor was old with a modern touch. The staff were very good. We were able to get a late check out and when we turned up at 2 o’clock one hour before check-in, our room is ready and we were able to get in. as it was our anniversary we had a little plate two small sponge cakes with happy anniversary written in chocolate left in a room on arrival which was a lovely touch. "The hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff are fabulous and Nicole at breakfast was so lovely. The food was really good and would recommend the Argento rose as a perfect end to the day. The bar staff would look after an open bottle for us in the fridge. The rooms were so comfortable and the bathroom was perfect and clean. I am definitely coming back on my next visit to Dartmoor. Thank you to all the staff for creating a welcoming hotel."

"Always enjoy our stay at Union Road , it is so convenient for visiting my family. They make you feel so welcome. I am sorry to say if there is one thing we don't like is the fact that the rooms are dog friendly, and we are not dog lovers. I don't know if all rooms are dog friendly but if they are it might be a problem for future stays as my wife can break out in a rash."
