"Contrary to some reviews i have read about this establishment, we were very impressed! The staff were really lovely and very helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was clean,well appointed and quiet. We ate there both evenings of our stay and i honestly couldn't fault our meals in any way. Simply delicious and plenty of it. Breakfast was also very good and massive! We will definately be staying here again and i thouroughly,wholeheartedly reccommend it to anyone. Well done Burrator inn."

"We flew from Texas to Buckfastleigh for a vacation with family. We loved the house and the host, Shelley and Pete, made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. We stayed 3 nights and loved it. "Gorgeous cottage with lots of character, low ceilings in areas but you soon learnt to dodge. All part of the character. Stair banister rail stunning character made from drift wood. All rooms on suite so no fighting over bathrooms and a jacuzzi bath downstairs. The owners were very welcoming and full book with instructions on arrival. As well as lots of ideas of places to visit. Fresh milk in the fridge on arrival and the added dry herbs etc in the kitchen added to the homely feel for the week....
