"I found the staff welcoming and very friendly. I enjoyed my evening meal and breakfast. The room was very nice and I really enjoyed the deep bath. I did not like the bright green light that came from a box mounted on the ceiling. It was very bright and I had to arrange my pillows in such a way to block it out in order to sleep. I prefer a darker room to sleep in. Apart from that everything was lovely. "

"We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). "It's pretty nice. My biggest complaint was that it was so warm we had to keep the windows open all the time, which meant we had to listen to traffic noise all the time, and there is a lot of traffic noise. Other notes: Window blinds were damaged and half-functional. Combination clothes washer/dryer does not dry effectively. Only one key is provided for an apartment that sleeps six. "
