"My partner and I recently visted the Angel hotel and we had an amazing time. Dinner and breakfast was sooo good! Staff are accommodating and overall lovely. Rooms are spacious and great value for money! Will recommend to anyone that is looking to stay in the area. "

"Convenient location in the middle of town but no parking facility..Public car parking 100 metres away. Bedroom noisy up to 23.00 due to karaoke in bar downstairs. Very friendly and attentive staff and food choice and quality was excellent - best barbecued ribs I have had in a long time. Well kept Real Ale."

"I’m certain, on the Trivago web site, it said Breakfast included. However I was asked £12.50 for breakfast which was very limited in choice. I could have stayed at the Old Thorns hotel with breakfast and a pool and spa for less!"

"Very tired decor and bathroom was particularly tatty. TV remote didn't work. Very noisy with loud music in the bar below until 1:30am and then noise from the bar until gone 3am making sleep difficult."

"We decided on staying at The Anchor Inn because of it's close proximity to Foyle Park, where we were attending a wedding. Its quite a small pub with only 5 rooms ..We stayed in the Rupert Brookes room which was a fantastic size ..High ceiling with lovely beams .. I would say that there were 2 things that let the room down .. Firstly the curtains in the room were very torn, so when closed you could see where the lining was non existent they definitely need to be replaced . The other...

"We enjoyed our stay here, walking distance to town and local shops/restaurants. Enjoyed being able to have facilities to make our own breakfast, although there is a restaurant downstairs. The shower was brilliant, water pressure was really good and the soaps provided were lovely. If we would niggle at anything it was the kettle took ages to boil, the loft bed light didn't work and the wall had some staining on it. But other than that a great night's sleep!"
