Only one negative was we found a sealed new packet of cigarettes in the bed side table and there was a beer bottle on the balcony with cigarette buts in but other than that everything was clean and tidy."

A few niggles with the facilities - bathroom vent did not extract quickly when steamy - there was a switch outside the bathroom which did nothing. One of the bedside lamps did not work at all. "New hotel , with clean , modern and spacious rooms . It is not really easily walkable to the city centre ( takes 35-40 mins ) , but there are bikes , and it’s only an 5 mins Uber ride into town . Will stay again as it’s good value for the price we paid . "

"By the river, this hotel is ideally situated for exploring Cambridge. The staff are excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are well appointed, cosy and very clean. We ate in the restaurant and can recommend it along with the bar where excellent cocktails are served. There's a large car park (unusual in Cambridge) which also has 6x EV chargers. "
