"Luscious hotel, very classy, with old-school manners. From the moment you enter you feel valued and respected, from the receptionist, maitre d’, porter and waitresses. Well furnished rooms, soft bedding & towels, good toiletries and tons of hot water. Breakfast was a la carte and well presented. Although the hotel was on a side street & at night was quite dark, it was also in central Manchester, so there were plusses & minuses. "Absolutely gorgeous hotel, the room was beautiful, the buffet breakfast was the best we've ever had. The only disappointment was the bar staff, plenty of staff but they just didn't seem to be bothered, took 10 minutes before they acknowledged we were there, seemed like they were put out by us being there. Other than that a great stay and we'll be back soon. "
