"I really did like staying at the Sunset Hill. It is a beautiful area. We were in the small property next door to the main house. There were just a few minor issues. The room we were staying in was cold. They had a space heater but it really didn't do much. It was a cold few days outside and it is an old house, but upon speaking to a staff person on check-out she mentioned that the heat was probably not turned up enough. It is one heating unit for the entire building and while it may be warm...

Have two college age kds who stay up way too late, so needed two bedrooms and paying for two hotel rooms was not desirable. This worked perfect! Would have given excellent rating but little work needs to be done on place - closet door fell of track, soap dospenser about to fall off wall. Just minor things. "We were upgraded to the Breton Arms property, which is much nicer than the Lodge. Still way behind the Omni Mount Washington Resort. Dining is very difficult. Reservations need to be made waaay in advance. And there isn’t anywhere else to eat. We had to buy a pizza 30 miles away and take it back to our room, so we could eat at a normal time. "
