"The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble. We liked the open fire and a space where we could sit and relax without having to sit in our room. The grounds were lovely. Nice place to relax."

The closeness of transit to the university was key for us. Staying in an apartment instead of a hotel gave us a lot of flexibility to work and have meals, thanks to the Sainsbury. "Stopped here a few times and for an airport hotel, it's one of the better ones. The staff are super friendly and it offers great value for money. The rooms are a little on the cosy side but are well equipped and modern. My only gripe, and this is a personal preference, is that the mattress is too hard and the pillows are not great. One pillow is too low and two pillows is too high. Woke up with a stiff neck and a headache from the pillows. This was sorted out by a lovely hot shower in the modern bathroom. The Rituals toiletries and Dressing Gowns are a nice touch. This is a great hotel with a superb buffet breakfast and I can highly recommend it."
