"Having to choose an alternative destination due to the Gold Coast cyclone were staying at the hotel for 5 nights as a mini holiday rest due. We picked Canberra to explore and counted on it being a quiet stay. The apartment allocated for our stay was directly over the area where huge garbage trucks pulled up each morning and emptied bin after bin at the crack of dawn. An jolting noisy morning start. "

"The room was equipped with everything we needed (although, had to ask for a 2nd wine glass as there was only one), it was quiet, with a very comfortable bed, lovely clean bathroom & a wonderful Sri Lankan restaurant just across the road If there was parking on site I would have given it 5 stars - however, we found a park on the street a block away."

"Good price for basic accom close to city. Parkingv crowded."

"There is no parking at the abode woden and there is not alway available paid parking across the road in the council parking lot. Abode no longer service the room daily which was a bit disappointing."
