Second time I’ve stayed at this property. It’s been a few years. They improved their wifi speed from when I stayed there previously. My last stay I expected to work from the room and got 1.5-2mbps. Speed test had it at about 15mbps, which is still inadequate by today’s standards. The hotel is also a cell phone black spot for reception. It may not cover the whole property however take note. The location is ok but not that close to any real amenities or restaurants like other hotels in Braddon. The room was spacious however upon checking in at 1:50pm I was told my room was not ready (2pm check in time) however another room was organised. The rooms are comfortable. Bed is medium however I regret not choosing pillows from the pillow menu as the ones with the bed were not to my liking. Note you can’t cast to the TVs if you wish to watch your own content. The gym is large, clean and well maintained. It’s be great if they installed a drink fountain or had bottles of water available. Overall for the excellent rate I paid, it was a positive experience and better than my first stay. If I had to choose between this hotel and another closer to Braddon or civic at the same rate, i may be inclined to choose another option.
