"Checked in after looking for another hotel after leaving the hotel I had originally booked. This hotel was warm and comforting, the check in was a total breeze. Friendly welcoming staff. Rooms were large and comfortable. Bar and other communal areas were clean and very cosy, loved the cosy nook with open fire effect fire. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area."

"Our room was a spacious “club” room looking out towards a large courtyard area. It was far too cold to explore outside! I had reserved and I had paid for four “club” rooms as this was a celebratory occasion for my wife’s 80th birthday. Reception were very helpful in providing one twin room, at check in, which I had originally requested. The heating in our elder son’s room was not working properly and although reception undertook to resolve this the room did not achieve an acceptable...

"restaurant staff lovely. generally hotel clean but pool changing rooms were a bit grubby, used towels from previous day still there on Sunday morning. pool temperature perfect. rooms lacked a dressing gown and slipper to attend pool. "

"Clean & convenient. Had to pay to park unless a Meecure member which is free and easy so worth doing. Bar not particularly well stocked but room very nice, comfortable and clean. Slept very well, would rexcomend"
