"This hotel was very nice!!! Anyone can find something to complain about. Minor maintenance is all that’s needed to make this place more upscale. Like toilet seat falling off and faucets not operating properly. I got use to the 2 problems and adjusted to them. Overall very happy and awesome view from pool and room."

"I arrived a day early due to my own mixup with travel dates from the UK. Staff at reception were super friendly and helpful the hotel was full I’m not sure how but they managed to accommodate me after a few internal conversations. All the staff were so helpful as my Portuguese is minimal. Europe should take a lesson off crayon customer service "

"The property is decent if you’re on a budget or lack options. The bathrooms have a sewer smell, almost like things don’t completely flush. Most of our plugs didn’t work. The place is old and it shows. The staff are all great, it’s just the hotel. "

"This is the best property in Búzios, hands down. The building is beautiful, staff is very attentive and food is amazing. We spent 4 nights at Casas Brancas and wish we could stay longer. Breakfast was delicious and had many options to choose from (Aparecida served as every morning and she was great). Everyone at the hotel was super friendly and polite. "The pousada is nice but not as you see in the pictures. Our room was at the top and there is a long way up, with low light at night The breakfast was ok, nothing special. It’s one block and a half to the beach, they change the pool towels only every 2 days. The curtains doesn’t cover completely so you get light early. The bed mattress for the small bed had a bump very uncomfortable, and the bed sheets low quality. Front desk people were kind and helpful"

" Our stay at Insólito was nothing short of spectacular! The pictures simply don't do justice to the beauty and vibe of this hotel. The stunning overview of Ferradura Beach, the lush gardens, the exquisite decor, and the perfect pool all contribute to an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely amazing, some of the best we've ever had. The service was just as impressive, with every detail meticulously attended to, ensuring a pleasant stay. The staff was incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any requests. A special shoutout to Raisa at the bar and restaurant, who was fantastic! An added bonus is the hotel's proximity to a very chill beach club with live music right in front of the beach, which hotel guests can access for free. Staying at Insólito was undoubtedly the highlight of our visit to Búzios, and we can't wait to return for a longer stay."
