"I loved the staff, the room, and the food. However, the property was outdated; I had just been to the pool and beach. It was my anniversary, and they gave me a cake with the words "Happy anniversary." I appreciated that. I would give everything a 7/10."

"As a woman travelling alone, this hotel made me feel safe. the staff are so lovely, so welcoming and helpful & everyone helped to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms are of the highest quality & i felt like a Queen stretching out in the big bed. it was worth every penny & when i come back to Ocho i will definitely stay again. Food was excellent & the decor & ambience was 20/10. close to all the shops & beaches i was sad to have to leave xx "

"Our nanny Deborah was amazing, she kids loved her. The owner is such a kind, down to earth person. The staff were incredible, they made us feel welcome and were so sweet with our kids. The food was delicious. It's a perfect destination if you are travelling with young children and although the property is quite outdated (but very clean), we would love to come back. "

Pretty manicured lawns around entrance. I loved the Cardiff Hall private beach! The hotel shuttle driver was efficient and a nice guy. Everybody there tries very hard. It was a good find. "This hotel is a different world, and one of the few places where they have every detail down perfectly. The service could not be better, and if you’ve been to Jamaica previously and seen the sights, there simply is no reason to leave the hotel grounds. We especially like Cottages 3 and 4, but have not stayed in a bad room yet. The private beach is perfect, as is the beach bar (“Teddy’s”). Croquet, anyone? Please don’t forget to pack your whites. The kitchen runs smoothly, and the menu is varied....
