We were given a room with a harbour view which was absolutely stunning. "Exeter Hotel is a good choice for solo women travelers as all entrances, elevators etc. are only accessed with a key card. Easy pick up/drop off for day tours directly across the street from the hotel at Bus Stop number 4. The staff is helpful and supportive. I would have liked to have been given a heads up that in winter there may be condensation on the windows and glass doors which can lead to pooling of water. Otherwise it was a great experience."

"Property was perfectly located for walking the city. Two blocks from the ocean and right next to restaurants and shops. Close to several markets as well. We loved the hotel. Cleanliness was top rate. Only complaint was street noise Friday and Saturday night for a bit. Just request a room on the courtyard. Not really an issue for us but maybe a light sleeper. Would definitely book there again!"
