Half of the balcony rooms face inland to the city, and so the view is not as inspiring. Would have preferred the option to book a harbour view."

"I can't say enough good things about my stay at the Reykjavik Residence Hotel. The room was huge, had a full kitchen, a nice size living room, two TV's. It was just fantastic. The only small complaint is the shower is really small even though the bathroom was big enough for a bigger one. It's right in the heart of the city with walking access almost everywhere. The staff was amazingly attentive and arranged all of my cabs the entire trip. Iceland is an expensive place, but the quality here...

"Beautiful hotel. Great location and comfortable room and bed. Lobby had nice seating area to enjoy a coffee or cocktail. Staff was helpful and shared easy directions to walk around town. The parking was convenient and free and it was especially nice that they held luggage after checking out so we could explore more around beautiful Reykjavik. We would love to come back to Iceland again to see more of its beauty and this hotel will be perfect to stay at. It was a pleasant surprise. "
