"Arrived on a Saturday afternoon, no parking available at the hotel. Parked in Magdolen at car park 2 mins walk from hotel and cheaper Check in was straightforward. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff we interacted with were friendly. Would stay again "

"Fabulous hotel. luxury feel. Great location and great food in the restaurant. Parking is tight but we booked and the space was reserved for us. I doubt the BMW driver had reserved a space and ended up carelessly parked without a proper space or consideration for anyone else - resulting in a million point turn to get out of my pre-booked spot! "We arrived in the dark after a trip to Rosemoor Glow and there was very little signposting that we could see to reception and then to our room when we eventually hit checked in. Meal in the restaurant was excellent although service if drinks was slow and mains came literally as soon as last mouthful of starter taken and plates hadn’t been cleared. Lovely peaceful sleep and to wake up the next morning to see the place in dayslight was beautiful. Breakfast was average - service good . Went to use...

"Food was brill inc the breakfast. Room was on top floor of the pub. Room was clean & tidy. About right for the £. Have to support these pubs as they need tyhe business rather than the National big players that are so impersonal. The staff were attentive as well."
