"The Carlton is a lovely Hotel in a central location. We enjoyed our stay there. Our room was spacious and well appointed; there was a selection of toiletries provided, but our only disappointment was that there were no bars of soap - so there was nothing available should we wish to take a bath - the basin and shower had pump-action containers beside their units, but nothing within reach of the bath!"

"My first room had malfunctioning airconditioning, and the beds are very firm. Staff moved me to a new (ice cold!) room very quickly, and arranged for additional duvets. Excellent service. The cafe in the lobby also makes good iced lattes, too. Note I find many beds much too firm in Asia, its more a commentary about my side sleeping and bony hips than it is about the facilities."

Bell and Concierge Bayani and Aloysius assisted us with transportation and answer all our questions with a smile. Norin, Jenny and En at the club lounge help us relaxed in the evening and assisted us with planning our days. Erica at the buffet always warm and friendly. "Lobby area is beautiful the room smelt as we opened the door of damp had to change rooms when the air freshener wore off there was a damp smell again but not as bad the furniture is old and tatty great breakfast poor area nice but all the grout has gone from the pool tiles and cuts your feet it was note up to standard as we payed for a much higher standard of hotel "
