"The hotel is within the inner-city walking precinct and is challenging to reach by car. The gentleman who greeted us at reception was rather curt and untoward. I felt that I was an inconvenience rather than a guest. The room was smallish but clean with a view of the Cathedral and Rathaus. The city centre is very walkable from the hotel. The buffet breakfast offered a great selection of food both hot and cold. Would happily stay there again."

"I arrived on a Monday but was disappointed to learn the restaurant was shut. Had to drive back into Düren for food. Germany doesn't seem to like Mondays! Had to call to get room key code it was not sent as promised. 90% of the time there is No employee to talk to about If your not from germany we were told not use the plug adapter because it would kill the power supply. Sign in bathroom states to throw your dirty towels on the floor. They will be replaced. But then room service did not come and clean or change towels that day and no one was there to talk to. Door handle came off. Coffee maker ran out of water and it was not...
