"This was a great stay in Aachen except for one thing. This is a successful hotel chain in Germany so I would expect that they would figure out their plumbing problems by now, but here it is: the temperature of the water in the shower varies rapidly depending on water use in other rooms. It goes rapidly from very cold to very hot and makes for a miserable showering experience! Almost unsafe in how hot it can get. Need better flow regulators, guys! Otherwise, everything else was very good."

"Loved the unit, super quiet, nice location to train station and walk into town. Kitchenette is perfect for longer stay. Housekeeping available for fresh towels. Shower floor very slick, and self-entry security pad not letting guests into building, waited 4 hrs for IT assistance. Never fixed front entry security door during my stay. "We stayed here for two nights. It's a really convenient location for the Altstadt, cathedral and Christmas markets. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and in good condition, and our room was comfortable. "This is in a terrific location. Very close to the Cathedral and many restaurants. We walked to the train station. The rooms are cozy but clean and comfortable. As a note for other American travelers, once in the building, go up the stairs to the automatic check in machine. I’ve not done that before but it worked very well. "

"This property was fantastic. I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel very near the train station and you can't beat the location of this property. I was warmly greeted by the staff, who even offered a nice hot cup of coffee. The reception area is large, comfortable, and was playing some great music. It's a fun atmosphere. My room was just what I needed, the floor was quiet, and the next day the staff kindly allowed us to store our bags for a few hours so we could explore the Christmas market...

"I was here for a couple of nights as it is well priced for a central hotel in Aachen in December. Its an Ibis Budget, so no frills, but shower was good, bed was comfortable. Yes, they are a little rough around the edges, but for the price, its good value. My only resrvation is that the local area is not brilliant - its near the bus station so quite busy, lots of kebab shops etc., but 10 minutes walk and you are in the CBD."
