"Lovrly hotel, rooms are a little dated but really clean. The ourside areas are looked after really well. Lovely Christmas decorations around so felt festive. The pools in each area made sure it was never too busy and there were plenty of sunbeds. The adult pool was a bonus and the regular pool is a great size. Less than 20 min walk to the beach there is a free shuttle bus twice a day and a supermarket just where the bus stopsped. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a great experience at Lanzarote Barcelo Active Resort. Lots of fun activities for the kids. Close to airport and beaches. Big rooms. Good food options in buffet. Would have liked more vegetarian main course options. One suggestion to have separation between vegetarian and non-vegetarian to avoid cross contamination. Lanzarote is a beautiful island to visit. Definitely recommend."

"I stayed for four nights B&B in a stylish room with a comfortable bed and rainfall shower. Nice grounds and pool, excellent breakfast, several dining options, friendly and helpful staff - but all was not good. First problem - check-in is really slow - only two staff, who were taking almost ten minutes per guest/group - I had to queue for 30 minutes to then be told that my room was not ready yet, and then come back and queue again for another 20 minutes just to get my room number. Second problem...

"Great hotel but they need to look at the small details to be an exceptional hotel. We had problems with sliding wardrobe doors not working, body lotion dispenser not working, tea and coffee drawer jammed amd hotel bar light flickering , which as was explained to staff could cause an epileptic fit in someone. Choice of food was excellent in both royal level and standard although sometimes the temperature of food was lukewarm. The quality of room in royal level is excellent bar the snags. Public...
