"Ok. So where do we begin. This is one of the nicest hotels anywhere (it does have a lot of awards) but then the A/C on the room does not work... After calling every four hours they send somebody who pretends to do something and you are back to begging for a colder weather so you don't have to sleep on whatever ambient temperature the city decides to throw at you. So my question is: Why invest in one of the best hotels in the world only to save some bucks on the A/C? Seriously?"

"I've stayed several times this hotel, i consider it good value. Although staff have limited english they try very hard to help, they are polite and friendly from the front desk to the cleaning maid. "

"Very nice, modern hotel, set within the parklands of west Shanghai. Plenty of recreational activities and walking nearby, along with Happy Valley Shanghai theme park (which isn’t that happy!!). Overall a nice stay, although AC wasn’t activate due to the hotel not using the central chiller. Room was a rather unpleasant 25 degrees at night, even with balcony door open. The second night they gave us a fan…! "

"This is a hotel you can escape from Shanghai and spent a weekend . Very crowded parking lots, and guests smoking freely in the hallways are the major issues. You would also not expect any western food in the breakfast."

"Hotel was in very good condition and front desk very friendly with adequate English spoken. Breakfast buffet was expansive with many many Chinese and Western options Was a pleasant surprise since no other reviews were available beforehand so one sometimes wonders. "
