"upon arrival Christina was very pleasant and helpful checking us in, we later returned to reception to book breakfast, this is time we were dealt with by Charmain, who was also pleasant and helpful. The Room was clean and comfortable for the 3 of us, we used the pool twice, which was a nice treat to have this downstairs , this too was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Overall a good experience all round, will book again if we need to stay in the area again"

"A hidden gem of a hotel. Beautiful building, lovely surroundings. My only reason for not giving it a 5 across the board was that there was a private party in one of the function rooms. Not an issue in itself, however I felt the staff were stretched quite thin as a result and the service was quite slow at dinner, to the point that we had to keep trying to find someone to serve, get the bill etc. Other than that, we had a great time and it wouldn’t deter me from coming back "

"Quiet location, friendly staff, food good but needs restaurant menu changing nightly or some specials adding as when your staying for any length it gets a bit boring, also the outside at the side of the restaurant needs a good sweep and tidy up, I sat there one evening watching a mouse playing and looking for something to eat, which it found then popped back into the stone wall, which you expect to find things like that in the country but could put some people off being so near the dining room,...
