"Lovely hotel. The reception is gorgeous and smells wonderful. Lovely bar opposite the river. The only moans were that the room we had 201 was so stuffy and so dark. It was a warm night and I found it hard to breathe as there's no a/c or a fan supplied and the window only opened 10cm which I realise is due to safety reasons but it's not comfortable at all. Also the on site parking is bad, so tight and I'm sure many cars have been scrapped trying to park there before. The car park isn't able to...

"Sited by the river ouse, lovely view over the town bridge. Only comment regarding bathroom facilities,the design has placed the toilet roll holder next to the door leaving very little room to use toilet. "

"What a lovely hotel, easy to find, great parking and all the staff we spoke to where extremely helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel but the menu look good and prices seemed very reasonable. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay again"

"I had an experience when l checked in the first day but the Manager Mr Patel managed to sort everything out the next day. He went out of his way to make sure that l was comfortable and catered for on a highest level. My whole experience was the most beautiful , quiet, tranquil and the grounds were just what you need for a break lots of walks if you have time."

"Stay here once a year for easy access to train station to London. Hotel also has parking. Room comfy with what we need for a short stay. Breakfast always seems chaotic on the weekend we are there waiting for table and waiting for breakfast items to be replenished. The downside of the room which i mention every year the room safe is on the floor and not accessible to some of us."

"This was a great hotel, with spectacular scenery and a lovely beer garden. The only issue I had was the airflow wasn't the best in the room, and it overheated easily. However, I had an enjoyable stay"
