"Nice clean room , my only gripe is the shower , out of 3 taps on the wall 2 of them seem to just turn shower off , one appeared to do nothing and wasn’t clear how to turn the hot water down as it became scalding hot very quickly but for an overnight stay in a very reasonable priced room I’d use again "

"Appreciated the space in the family room and cleanliness - thank you to the cleaners! Swimming pool area extremely in need of a refurbishment. Pool water was cold. Reception area was welcoming. Food good choice but quality could be better/ more flavoursome. The hotel served a purpose as was close to Snow Centre. "

"Amazing art deco building which looks to have been recently renovated we were fortunate to be in a room located in the original building thats was clean comfortable and great facilties, staff were all very pleasant and accommodating good location for a short trip into St Albans if i had to find a fault it would only have been the location of the staff room next to our room which had the door banging continuously in the early hours, but its an old building so perhaps sound proofing not great in...

"Great overnight stay with two kids age 5 and 7. Had a lovely time. The hotel was very welcoming, especially Becky on reception. We loved the peacocks and feeding them was such a treat. We got a taxi into Tring to the Natural history museum which was fun. The family room was lovely and spacious. Would definitely stay again. Thanks to all the staff!"

"nice location next to shopping mall, good size of family room, king size bed comfortable. staff friendly, helpful, and acting quick. basement pool bit small for kids. my teen daughter said sofa bed is not good. just one night stay without car, or breakfast."
