"The hotel itself was fine. Great bed and room was comfortable, could use a bit more cleaning and updating. Front desk staff person( I assume a seasoned professional)could use sensitivity training for guests that arrive from a long travel(we drove 250 miles to visit a family member ill in the hospital). Also, 39.00 to park(guess that is cheap in Pittsburgh?). Staff at the restaurant pleasant, food just ok. Possibly open earlier for travelers that would like a meal before 5 PM? All in all, fine...

"What a gem! The mansions on 5th was an excellent surprise. This area of Pittsburgh is gorgeous. We were touring Carnegie Mellon and were able to easily walk over to the campus tour. Rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. beds were extremely comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating. If my daughter ends up at Carnegie Mellon, we will be back!"

Pros: We loved the condo, the location and the views. 5 stars Cons: 3 Stars We didn’t know that we had to pay $40 for Valet parking a night, because there wasn’t any parking for a Chevy truck. If we didn’t have a truck, parking would’ve been 30 a day and no in and outs. The bed was low to the floor. My husband has bad knees and had surgery for a broken back. "The apartment we stayed in was very nice for the price we paid. We did have minor issues when arriving to the house but the property managers were very quick to respond and solve them for us.
