"The Hotel Nikko was perhaps the finest hotel I have ever stayed in!! EVERYTHING was exceptional! The staff was very courteous and helpful with us with navigating Japanese language. The front lounge was a beautiful setting for us to meet with friends. The breakfast buffet was something i looked forward to every morning- vast variety of Japanese cuisine and other breakfast foods. "Good location. Central to most attractions being close to the castle. We only spent a night in kumamoto but felt that this hotel was good value. Parking in front of the hotel was a bit tight depending on the spots available. They do have another parking area though. Hotel was clean and as described in the listing. Overall, a good stay."
