"The stay was absolutely fine and comfortable, where the slightly lower scores are as a result of some areas of the hotel look a little tired and worn out; however this was and has been reflected in the budget price. You get what you pay for and the room was clean enough. Some molud on the ceiling but nothing too much to worry about."

However, the room itself really needs a face lift - the paint is flaking off all over the windows and some part of the ceiling, the carpet is old and fraying at the junction where it meets the wood floor and the towel rain in the bathroom is loose. Don’t get me wring, the room itself was clean, but it felt a bit unloved. Considering this was one of the more expensive rooms with twin tubs, I would have expected it to be...

"The room was a fair size. It was rather hot but you can turn the radiator off. It is on a main road and there is a lot of traffic noise. But it is nice and clean and the staff are helpful. They did us bacon sandwiches to go instead of having to sit down for breakfast. "
