"Nice hotel. Lovely rooms with nice bathrooms. Staff lovely and very helpful, within easy reach of shops and restaurants. Lovely views of the cathedral and we enjoyed the cathedrals bells!"

"They staff were all really friendly and efficient. The booking and paying was not good at all. I had paid upfront and they asked for it again. I was double charged for food and when I queried it I was refunded but it takes up to 6 days! If I hadn’t queried it, they would have taken it. The hotel blamed Expedia but I am not so sure as this is the second time! This spoiled my stay! "

The parking situation is awful, we stayed 6 nights, and were in and out whilst staying and spent what seemed like ages driving around the one way system going from one car park to another trying to find space (each time you tried either the top or bottom car park it was another loop around the whole of the city centre!) "This is the greenest hotel we have been to. We saw green stuffs everywhere, green walls, large green recycle bins, homely and low key low carbon count and Kind of English style furniture. Plenty of organic foods at the Cafe. Certainly not Ritz but comfortable and Neat and Easy here. A perfect haven for people tired of exuberance."

"Good for the cost though seemed slightly understaffed over the Christmas period perhaps. Gym and pool area decent, nice staff across site. Needs a little spruce up of exterior and recycling bins as an improvement. "
