"Stayed here during a 1-week trip to Chiang Mai. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms aren't the fanciest and somewhat out of date. The gym was sparse and a bit run down. We enjoyed the pool and ample breakfast options. We loved the location that was easily walkable to the markets around Old City but not in the heart of business. Overall a good value!"

"We had a great stay at the Chaya. In particular the staff were all very friendly and attentive. As for the room, it was very clean, spacious and kept to a high standard. We didn’t have breakfast and didn’t tour the local area so can’t comment, but for the pool and the room we would highly recommend this hotel. Short taxi away from the airport and the Old town and local enough for tours to collect us from the hotel. "

"This was a fantastic hotel!!! Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Had breakfast there pretty much every morning because most places weren’t open early enough. The only complaint (and it is not them) is that it was very difficult to sleep because the bars across the street were soooo loud and would play music till after midnight. Otherwise the stay was amazing!!! "

"This hotel was quite lovely. The room was spacious, had lots of light & was clean. There was a mini kitchen but no dishes so not meant to be used. When you take the key card out to lock your room when you leave, all electricity shuts off which makes the bar fridge not stay cool. The shower was ok except the water did not get hot.
