"This Holiday Inn actually adjoins the Hualuxe Hotel (both properties are owned by the IHG group). When you arrive, you check in at the Hualuxe reception area. A buffet breakfast is served on Level 1 of the Hualuxe property; guests also have access to the swimming pool on Level 3 of the Hualuxe Hotel. The properties are located in a fairly quiet, leafy area, and it's only a 12-minute walk to the Guangming Road metro station, from where you can get to the centre of Shanghai in just over an hour....

The room card was very difficult to use when tapping in the elevator trying to access your floor. "Hotel is at a good location if you have business in the NW part of Shanghai, or Disney; it's only a 5-minute walk from the metro station and also close to the Anting-North train station. The rooms are big and clean, room service is excellent and the food is top quality. The basement has a nice gym with lots of equipment but smells a bit musty, maybe because this summer has been hot & humid. The property manager (Julie) is super helpful & friendly, and is always around to help with...

"The staff was super friendly and they all spoke English well. The breakfast was good and had enough options for foreign travelers. There was a good cheap noodle shop in the small shopping area across the street. The gym was fairly well equipped as well. I would stay there again. "
