"Had a lovely couple of days staying at craglands , Eldon our host was spot on with us, even helped carry one of our cases to our room which was on the top floor ( view was fantastic but the stairs are a killer lol ) cooked breakfast has to be ordered the night before with plenty to choose from ,cereal and toast available as well which you just help yourself to , room was lovely and warm and clean, parking is at the side of the property and bear in mind you're reversing off the main road , but...

"The staff at the Boot and Shoe were lovely - they were friendly and helpful during our stay. The cooked breakfast was excellent. We had booked a table for dinner but unfortunately the table we’d been allocated wasn’t great so we dined elsewhere. The staff were really apologetic and gave us a complimentary round of drinks to make up for this. The room itself was fine. The bed was ok and the room was clean. "Would highly recommend staying at Albany House when in Penrith! It was a lovely bed & breakfast in a great location. It was our first time in Penrith and we really enjoyed exploring the town and then returning to our clean and comfortable room at Albany House in the evening. "
