"Owner was friendly through text , workers were great !!! Until my little one broke a drinking vase & the lady tried to get over on my husband & charge him $80 for it. Meanwhile the cook in Spanish was laughing & saying it’s no more then $20 10,000 colonies! That rubbed us the wrong way , we tipped every worker the whole stay! The room was great , they should kill some of the animals nest around the property & also huge iguanas we heard all day/night on top of the ceiling! There needs to be some...

"We loved our stay in Luxury Standard Room 209 at Tulemar. We saw squirrel monkeys daily from our balcony, and toucans, sloths, scarlet macaws, leaf-cutter ants, frogs, bats, and iguanas on the grounds also. The private beach was never crowded, and we appreciated the complimentary umbrellas and chairs, as well as the ability to order food and drinks from Tule Cafe while on the beach. "Hotel was quiet, quaint and completely relaxing. The breakfast was astounding. The vibe of the place is very welcoming, non-judgmental, and comfortable which is so important in a clothing optional establishment. It was perfect to lay by the pool, soak in the Costa Rican sun, and enjoy the waterfall pool and hot tub. Wildlife here was amazing...and came to us: we saw three sloths, iguanas, macaws, toucans, and squirrel monkeys! Better than a paid tour - at our doorsteps. Stephen & Gato...

"Overall this property is family friendly and nice. Walkable from most party areas in Jaco. The only issue I had with is the maintenance. The bubblers in plunge were not working and hit water wasn’t working in couple of bathrooms. Even after multiple reminders and requests the property management failed to fix that. "

"I stayed with my Partner here the view is increíble sorround by nature and lord of birds fying around like macaws. The view is breathtaking right in front of Marina Pez Vela, of you want to come for a fishing tournament or ant other activities around the marina this is the place. Totally recommended !!!"

"No one knew I was coming to check in. Had to sit outside in a fairly sketchy area while the caretaker spoke with the property manager. Place was pitch black, no open onsite bar, restaurant, entertainment place. Per listing. Very disappointed in this stay. Ended up eating the 211 dollars and getting a different room. Definitely not a “party” hotel. "
