"An older but grand hotel. The lobby is a marbled classic, the elevators are trimmed in old-school brass. Speaking to management, there are ambitious plans for the future. The rooms are dated, but very comfortable. The Mexican restaurant has excellent food, but what really sets this hotel above other, newer hotels is the staff. Very friendly, accommodating and engaging. This will be my go-to hotel from now on when I come to Bangkok."

"When I checked in, room not ready. When room was ready, receptionist forgotten about me despite I sitting in front of counter waiting for more than 2 hours! I was not feeling well and wanted to lie down in a bed. I could have done that much earlier."

"This has been my favorite hotel to stay at when I am in Thailand. It is the perfect location and close to train station, food, transportation. However, in both buildings they have a mold problem. The walls have mold in them as well as the showers. Do not stay in the the older building where the top rooms are suppose to be. The toilets do not flush and the sinks leaks water everywhere. The constant noice from outside gets annoying because you can hear everything in the rooms so there is bad noise...

"Good location, as you walk in the hotel is impressive but the rooms do not match the lobby area. Rooms were just ok, the biggest turn off is the bathroom, as it has and old step into shower that you have to step into about a foot high, so it you have limited mobility, I would not recommend it. "this is a new 6 month old airport hotel about 15 min from the airport depending on traffic. in this case the photos actually match the hotel! its gorgeous. the garden rooms are great if you like to swim as patio doors open to the pool from uour room. staff were friendly bar one odd exception when we arrived. overall fantastic"
