"The new manager , of one week is excellent (thank you MOSS). The resort is in a very good location, right on the beach and close to the village. Maintenace and upkeep of the rooms seemed to have been neglected. The cost of accommodation is far to expensive for the condition and standard of the rooms. Work is underway to build an on site pool and new reception area and landscapping hopefully follows. I believe the new manager has the ability to lift the standard necessary to justify the prices...

"We booked our stay 3 months ahead. When we turned up, the owner had no idea about our booking as they apparently "do not use Wotif" (we obviously booked through Wotif) and we're not due to open for the season until the next day. We then found the room that we were offered to be full of mould and what looked to be a blood stain on the pillow. Apparently during the off-season the bungalow rooves had leaked, causing extensive mould. They were then not able to offer us another room that didn't have...

"No internet in room and spotty in common areas. Our superior room had no views. Requires a deluxe room to have view. English was poor. Good restaurants near by. Good swimming 5 - 10 minutes away up the beach due to tides. Staff did not return emails regarding pick up and had to phone them."

"Great hostel, free breakfast is far better than i was expecting, laundry service available. Staff friendly and helpful Female-only dorm very badly arranged; little privacy and no space for things. Also means the air con freezes one person to death while a few others barely benefit. Will email hostel to suggest moving beds as there is space for everyone to have a good nights sleep"

"Hervorragende Unterkunft. Direkt am Pier gelegen, sodass wir mit unseren Rucksäcken problemlos ein paar Minuten zur Unterkunft laufen konnten. Wir wurden sehr herzlich mit einem Obstteller empfangen.(diesen gab es im Nachgang jeden Tag) Im Vergleich zur restlichen Insel war die Gartenanlage des Mook ing lay sehr sehr gepflegt und ordentlich. Die Bungalows sind einfach gehalten, aber sehr sauber. Das Bett wird alle zwei Tage frisch bezogen. direkt in der Umgebung Zahlreiche Möglichkeiten um...

"Et rigtigt godt ophold på Koh Mook nurse House, ejeren og ejerens søster er virkelig venlige og høflige og spørger hele tiden om alt er fint. Derudover henter og bringer de til havnen, når man ankommer og rejser. Man får virkelig en lækker morgenmad hvor man selv kan vælge hvilken type æg. Wifi blev lavet under opholdet og virkede derefter glimrende. Dog vær opmærksom på at der ikke er varmt vand i bruseren!"
